Attendance: Estimating 800+ competitors from 10 countries from all over Asia Pacific and the world – this is one of the world’s largest dodgeball events!

Dodgeball’s unique blend of athleticism, teamwork, and community spirit makes it a beloved activity that welcomes everyone, regardless of their background or skill level. Dodgeball has grown in popularity around with world with regular competitions played in over 80 countries.
Fresh off representing New Zealand at the first World Dodgeball Championships in Malaysia, Simon and Bronson arranged a small comp in Melbourne. From here the two wanted to have a tournament that players can travel together and play dodgeball. Over a beer or 2 they decided to start in Wellington and invited as many dodgeball players as possible from around New Zealand and Australia. Even grabbing attention from some players in Singapore including Mark Bernaldez.
The desire of players from all over the world to travel and play has helped grow the Asia Pacific Invitational into one of the biggest and high profile dodgeball events in the world.
